What is a cookie
A cookie is a small text file stored in your browser when you visit the site. Cookies keep your basket filled, your session open and your preferences remembered.
Cookies we use
- Strictly necessary: session id, basket contents, security checks. The site cannot work without them and they cannot be switched off.
- Preference cookies: language and currency choice, recently viewed products, list layout preference.
- Measurement cookies: used to see in aggregate which pages are viewed and how often; no individual identification is made.
Third-party cookies
At the payment step your bank's 3D Secure page, and any embedded content (maps, video, social media), may set their own cookies. Those cookies are governed by the policies of the organisations concerned.
Managing cookies
You can delete or block cookies in your browser settings, or ask to be prompted each time. If you block strictly necessary cookies, the basket and membership features will not work.
